I have just returned to Melbourne after 13 years in Europe...much of it spent in Burgundy. Over the past month I have been sampling a variety of Aussie Wines....but with a palate more accustomed to Burgundy Pinot Noir... alas I purchased a bottle of Wedgetail Valley Bio-dynamic Pinot Noir 2009 without knowing anything much about the vineyard and how the wine was produced... but immediately I could detect a Burgundy style and flavour. This wine is really excellant! Stick with your production methods and keep on producing Burgundy style Pinot Noir. It's great!

We loved the Pinot, so far we have drunk the Bio-Dynamic Pinot, we are still to drink the Reserve. We had ordered the Bi-Dynamic also at Healesville Hotel and found we prefered it at home, we had it just slightly chilled and that brought the flavors out more

I'm a sommelier from Belgium, Ad Bibendum introduced me with your wines. Always interested in new stuff and this was amazing wine. Keep on rocking the grapes.

I am a committee member of the " Shiraz Club" and a fan of your wines. You may recall the Club visited your winery a number of years ago. Once a month the committee have a blind tasting based on a theme chosen by the host member. Yesterday I hosted the meeting and chose the theme " Victorian Pinot Noirs " as I am particularly fond of that variety. I thought you would be gratified to hear that a bottle of your 2000 Estate Pinot Noir was unanimously voted wine of the night with some lead ahead of its nearest rival.

David & Michael have been checking that my cellar in Harden contains what it should and have suggested that I should have some 2004 Reserve Pinot...the last time I ordered (7/8/06) I bought what MK advised me to however I have looked back on the order form and the 04 Pinot wasn't on it.......I have recently opened a bottle of the 03 PN for a most discerning Pinot drinker and he (who had not heard of Wedgetail...tut tut!!) was most impressed...it was drinking very well and was fabulous with some homegrown lamb!

I just returned from Quebec City Canada and had your Single Vineyard estate Pinot Noir at a lovely restaurant there named Panache. I actually live in the US(Maine) and am wondering if your wines are available here or can be shipped directly? I was most impressed with the single vineyard Pinot. It wasn't the high alcohol, over extracted, micro-oxygenated style that I have come to expect from Australia, but instead a most elegant and balanced Pinot Noir that reminded me of Oregon or dare I say Burgundy.
Keep up the good work. I hope more makers from Australia follow your lead and work from their heart rather than from market demands.
