A blend of Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot and a touch of Shiraz, the 2017 North Face has developed into a smooth, medium-bodied wine with a generous core of dark fruit. Blackcurrant and dark cherry lead the nose and palate, supported by gentle spice and savoury notes. The palate is even and rounded, finishing with soft tannins and a balanced, supple close.

Now in an ideal drinking window, the North Face is graceful, full-flavoured and deeply satisfying.

This Cabernet-dominant blend is a natural partner for red meat dishes such as grilled steak, roast lamb, and hearty stews.  Its firm structure stands up beautifully to rich sauces and bold flavours.
